The Duty of Children to their parents.

Christianity and Islam employs on all children to pay full respect to their parents. Complete obedience is expected of every offspring. The Bible and Qur’an recognize the value of parents and thus contain the following verses;

“If any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father or his mother, and when they chastise him, he will not even listen to them, then his father and mother shall seize him, and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gateway of his hometown. "They shall say to the elders of his city, 'This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey us, he is a glutton and a drunkard. Deuteronomy 21:18-21
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honor thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; Ephesians 6:6
If there is anyone who curses his father or his mother, he shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother, his blood-guiltiness is upon him. Leviticus 20:9

“Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor." – [Qur’an 17:23].
